The New 90210 TV Show

The CW is in talks about making a spinoff from the widely popular 90’s tv show Beverly Hills 90210. Da da da da da…da.da…da da da da …DAH DAH!
“Veronica Mars” creator Rob Thomas is in talks to pen the project, which has been put on the fast track by the network. The spinoff would bring Thomas back to CW, where his acclaimed series “Veronica Mars” ended its three-year run last spring. This would be the second spinoff from “90210,” which aired on Fox from 1990-2000. The Star-created “Melrose Place” had a successful seven-year run on Fox. Tori Spelling, the daughter of the show’s creater and who also played Donna Martin in the series, said, “My dad always wanted to do a new version of 90210. I thought the new 90210 was called The OC?

“And I’d love to somehow be a part of it. That as well would make my dad proud,” Spelling, who is pregnant with her second child, enthuses. “Playing the funny sex ed teacher at the high school would be funny, too, considering Donna Martin was America’s most infamous virgin.” “The show was a huge part of my life. Ten years! I miss it dearly.” “I thought … it’s about time,” Spelling tells People.com. “I’m surprised it took this long for them to make a 90210 spinoff.”

And on what sort of role she intends to play, Tori explains: “Well, I am a mom now, proud to say, but obviously too young to have a teenager, so maybe I could be one of the main character’s young stepmom.

Tori, you horse faced never was nepotistic brat….GO AWAY!

Singer/actress Hilary Duff is reportedly in talks to join the cast of a new Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off series. A contemporary series of the hit 1990s TV show has been commissioned by TV network CW. The original show, which ran for 10 years from 1990 to 2000, starred Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling. Producers are now said to be courting 20-year-old Duff to take on one of the leading roles in the updated version, according to Eonline.com. Duff shot to fame in hit Disney TV show Lizzie McGuire before launching a successful music and film career.

The wild kids of television’s West Beverly Hills High will have a guidance counselor who is very familiar with the posh zip code’s dating, drugs, and drama.Jennie Garth will reprise her role as Kelly Taylor and join the cast of CW’s “Beverly Hills, 90210″ pilot spinoff. She won’t be a regular, but she will play a guidance counselor at her alma mater, according to the Hollywood Reporter.Garth, 36, departed the CBC comedy pilot “My Best Friend’s Girl” last month.

Tori is so annoying. You’d like to play a step-mom on the show - great so you’ve already divorced David, then, who was the love of your life and who you married on the last episode of the first 90210. Don’t come back if you’re going to mess up the original - I’d rather remember it in a good way.

Why are they bringing back BH90210 if they aren’t going to bring back the original characters and continue where they left off. This is going to be a joke. I watched a preview of the cast members and they all seem so fake and it looks like a show that was made by a couple of 14 year old girls. You are ruining the original BH90210 by doing what you are doing. People grew up to this show and were looking forward to the “new 90210.” After seeing a short preview I am completely disappointed! Good thing the CW still has “One Tree Hill” to keep them going! I will stick with my reruns.
