Roy Scheider, the actor best known for his role as a police chief in the blockbuster movie “Jaws,” has died. He was 75. Sharks rallied at the hosiptal to have his body buried at sea so that they could eat him for dinner. Scheider died yesterday of complications from multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood cells, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he had been treated over the past two years.
