Taylor Hicks might have won “American Idol,” but he doesn’t have his record deal anymore.The silver-haired soulster won in 2006 and released a self-titled album in December of that year. The disc sold 699,000 copies but didn’t produce any hits.No word on Taylor’s next step. My guess is a crappy off the strip casino in Reno or Tupala, Mississippi.
Ruben Studdard, who took the second season of “American Idol,” stopped recording for J Records last year. Seems like these guys are a little out of touch in what people want.
