She loves that attention. Britney Spears has put down the crack pipe long enough to realize that her daily trips to Starbucks, not to mention her die-hard party habits, have taken a toll on her once slender physique. Celebrity moles are whispering that the singer had hired a full-time nutritionist.We hear Britney Spears is in search of an Los Angeles-based freelance writer….to help her pen a book. Unlike the pop tart’s mom’s forthcoming Mother’s Day 2008 memoir, Britney has been inspired to compile a book of celebrities interviewing celebrities, ala Interview Magazine. the price of fame, the pressures of being a celebrity, dealing with the press and the paparazzi,Subjects will be grilled on everything from the price of fame to the stress of dealing with the press and the paparazzi. I actually think this is a kinda-cool idea, it is a different angle on this underworld.

Britney Spears did a little shopping this weekend and a little shoplifting. While checking out at a Van Nuys gas station Britney was approached by a cameraman and asked how she was doing. While he was taping, Britney got a bit pissy with him then decided to up and gank a lighter. She’s seen walking out and saying “I stole something. Oh, I’m bad. Ohhhhh!” before getting in her car.The crazy part is the owner of the gas station doesn’t want to press charges and wants Britney to keep coming back. Throw the book at her.
