Robert Redford Marries Sybille Szaggars
Robert Redford has hinted he will marry his longterm girlfriend Sybille Szaggars. The 71-year-old revealed in an interview with German magazine Bunte he is now calling German painter Szaggers his “fiancee.” He adds, “…it says everything, doesn’t it.” The couple have been dating since 1996. This would be the second marriage for the actor, whose first wife Lola Van Wagenen gave birth to his four children - one of whom died tragically from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. They divorced in 1985. Wow I bet she’s ready to move on now. Who would want an old, wrinkly, wet-noodle Robert Redford? Where most people commend her patience, I criticize it. She should now divorce the old fart and find a younger man.

He did not marry his girlfriend Billie and probably never will. She doesn’t care about his wrinkles she cares about his fortune and fame and she’s no kiddie at 52.

Agree with first comment.Narcissists can be easily manipulated . Dating is one thing, living with one is hell. Unless she is guaranteed a large amount in a pre-nup agreement, I can’t see her marrying him.
I believe the news of their ” engagement” was simplay to create some buzz prior to the opening of Lions For Lambs. I find it odd that the announcement was made to a German magazine and that he is dating a German lady. Sounds very calculating to me.

I guess that if he has been with Sybille for 12 years that alone even, if not legally married to her. How I envy her. Just to breath the same air as his would be enough for me.
Watching “The Horse Whisperer” one night in the last year did it for me even though I loved “The Way We Were” in the 70’s.
