Dog The Bounty Hunter Is Racist
In the tape, Dog goes on a racist rant while on the phone with his son about his girlfriend, who is African-American.
“My sincerest, heartfelt apologies go out to every person I have offended for my regrettable use of very inappropriate language. I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term in a private phone conversation. It was completely taken out of context. I was disappointed in his choice of a friend, not due to her race, but her character. However, I should have never used that term. I have the utmost respect and aloha for black people – who hav already suffered so much due to racial discrimination and acts of hatred. I did not mean to add yet another slap in the face to an entire race of people who have brought so many gifts to this world. I am ashamed of myself and I pledge to do whatever I can to repair this damage I have caused.
“In Hawaii, we have something called Ho’oponopono, where people cometogether to resolve crises and restore peace and balance. I am meeting with my spiritual advisor, Rev. Tim Storey, and hope to meet with other black leaders so they can see who I really am and teach me the rightthing to do to make things right, again.
“I know that all of my fans are deeply disappointed in me, as well, a I have tried to be a model for doing the right thing. I did not do the right thing this time, and hope you will forgive me. We learn from ou mistakes, as my story of overcoming a life of crime has proven, and I will learn from this one for the rest of my life.�

And all along it was Dawg’s own son setting him up for the fall. Everytime Dawg said “the n-word” that punk heard a cash register go off in his head. I’ll bet his girlfriend is hip deep in all of this as well. Dawg messed up, no question. But to have your own blood, your own offspring cut your legs out from under you, that has got to be the worst. And it looks like A&E is in fact going to pull his show therefore what he feared losing from a racial slur was all lost from a racial slur. A self fufilling prophecy.

I don’t normally argue with idiots but lice cannot thrive in oily hair. Second, how can you jump in can call someone an f’n hillbilly racist jackass? Sounds like you are the racist. I heard the tape and Dog said he was didn’t want the girlfriend around because she threatened to tape conversations and she was trouble.. not because she was black. Third, I don’t care who you are.. YOU HAVE SAID the n-word in your life and it was no big deal for you to say it.. OR, are you a racist now because you said it? It’s just another offensive name that the populas is trying to eliminate from the volcabulary. How come the Rapers are allowed to use it and it’s not problem? I have many black friends and they call each other (N) and that’s ok.. because they aren’t racist.. but I wouldn’t say it because I’m Mexican/American and It would cause a huge problem. Other offensive names? Hillbilly, RACIST, honky, jackass, moron, wench, ho and that’s saying it lightly. But name calling has always been in the vocabulary and it always will be. And whenever someone want to swear among their family, that’s their business only! I watch “The Bounty Hunter” and I think it’s a great entertaining show especially at the end when they catch the bad guy but they threat him or her like they were family and want to help them get their life on the right track… no matter what color their skin is! That is not a racist. That is a heart warming show that is great to educate kids today and it shows us adults about the criminals out there and if A&E pulls it and labels Dog as a racist for something he said in his own home, then A&E is just a racist station, and our family will drop A&E. Hopefully Court TV will pick up “The Bounty Hunter”

wow! i use to watch that show almost every night (which im sure that people of ALL races did) when it came on. I really thought that he was a good person. when I heard about this happening, i thought to myself that this couldnt be real; Dog is a good guy, something got misunderstood. However, after hearing that playback, Im disgusted! I just really cant appreciated fake people-this whole time WE thought that Dog was a God fearing equal loving, grace appriating man…..whoever you are, be yourself-dont smile in my face and call me a NIGGER behind my back!!!! I can’t believe it…I can’t believe that Dog said what he said and I can’t believe some of the things I’m reading from you guys. I think that this is just another way that people want to shut someone who is in controversy down. What i mean is that Dog should have his show cancelled but not for saying the “N” word. His wife is uterly disgusting and disrespectful of people in general and his approach to these “convicts” are disturbing. When you approach someone shouting the “Get on the F*ing Ground you Mother-F*er!” and then saying that “god has sent me to save your soul” is so backwards. A&E Pulled his show because of the complete controversy over it. I mean if you think about how society uses the word then you would know that it has derogitory meaning but at the same time Black Rappers and Black Comics alike use the same term as part of their routines. Does anyone pull them off the air? No. I am not saying what he said is right but in the conversation with his son he said that he does not use the word in the way that the public think it means, he even says that in the taped conversation. He said he does not want her to hear that because she would take offense. Why is it “legal” for Black people to use words like “cracker” “honkey” and “redneck”. To me this is a word that should be “equal opportunity”. I am not Black or White. Black people linger on the fact that their ancestors were slaves. I think that is the biggest reason that they get away with saying things freely. Think about it, When Black People say “Black Power!” what does it mean? Strength of Black People or Black Pride? Ok. When White People Say “White Power!” what does that mean? People automatically think it means KKK or Death to Blacks or something Racial. I mean people love to use history to make excuses for their actions. There are more pressing issues that are relevant.

We are all here to perfect our souls for god. In other words we have to learn valuable lessons one after the other. I do believe Dog the Bounty Hunter has us all beat. He’s perfecting his soul faster than most people. God does not see Dog as bad. God I’m sure forgives him for his mistakes because on the other side it just isn’t important. We are all related on the other side. It’s very different over there. Dog is very right about one thing. Where mercy is shown, mercy is given. There is a lesson here. Iam a big fan of Dog,and his show “Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Dog made a mistake,he gives everyone a second chance,so we all should give Dog a sceond chance.Has everyone forgotten all the good things Dog does and all the word’s of wisdon Dog has given to everyone.Dog does a lot for people around the world and helps people out of jail ,cares for then ,giving another chance at life.Dog has lead the war on ice in Hawaiii and got rewarded by the State Government.Dog is not a racist in anyway,he is a kind person with a big heart. I love Dog and his family andIalways will. Iwll stick by them all 100% through good times and bad times.
