Notoriously foulmouthed chef Gordon Ramsay doesn’t seem to think too highly of the good ol’ US of A. The celebrity chef was furious over allegations that he faked scenes on his TV show, Kitchen Nightmares. “I would never, ever, ever dream of setting anything up,” Ramsay was quoted as saying by the UK’s Daily Snack. “I want to sleep at night. We were issued a writ because, God bless America, if the toilet paper is not thick enough and you come out with a rash on your ass [you’ll get sued]… this is supposed to be the most powerful nation in the world, not the most pathetic.” He sure tells it like it is.
This is one of my favorite reality tv shows. I remember watching this show when it was on A&E or TLC (can’t remember). I actually liked the older shows much more over these new ones. He was much much more supportive and less abrasive. You can tell they want him to butt heads with everyone cause it makes good tv. The hit show Hells Kitchen highlighted Gordon barrating young chefs. He would drill them worse than an Army Sargent in boot camp. So this new show, Kitchen Nightmares brings his talent and style right to the streets. In each episode, Ramsay visits a failing restaurant and acts as a troubleshooter to help improve the establishment in just one week. Ramsay revisits the restaurant a few months later to see how business has fared in his absence. Episodes from series one and two have been re-edited with additional new material as Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares Revisited; they featured Ramsay checking up on restaurants a year or more after he attended to them. The whole show is fascinating and when Gordon throws a nice bone to people, it holds alot of weight, since his standards are extremely high. I plan on visiting his restaurant in NYC when I visit.

SINCE YOUR SHOW IN MY AREA THERE ARE RESTAURANT INSPECTIONS IN THE NEWSPAPER EVERY WEEKEND. I DON’T KNOW IF YOUR SHOW CAUSED THIS BUT I CERTAINLY AM GLAD IF IT HAS. WE LOVE YOUR SHOW AND PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO WAKE UP. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE EATING, BUT WE DO FEEL BETTER IN OUR AREA NOW SINCE THE INSPECTIONS ARE NOW BEING DONE.

Want real family “Kitchen Nightmares”, not just before but after too, no faking at all?
Just watch Gordon Ramsay’s much bullied younger brother, Ronald Ramsay, trying to cook some stale food in a rat infested Indonesian prison cell.
Proof positive that Gordon, really can make a lasting difference to peoples lives, in the real world, off camera.
As Gordo said “Well, it beats working for charity for the rest of your life, doesn’t it!” and “Stopped him bothering me and my perfect parents for some kindness!”

I am still a loyal fan of this show and am blow away at the jealousy and resistance each chef feels toward Gordon when they initially start up. Chef Ramsay’s TRUE talent is his gift to inspire and motivate people, not his cooking. His standards are SO high and people become inspired to reach them. Gordon knows when to butt heads and knows when to ask like a father-figure. His people skills are genius.

I love Gordon he is a fantastic person who cares about others and just tries to help. Sometimes people need a little kick in the ass, something to broaden the horizon something to aim for thats what he does. Gordon is a very caring person with great insight and passion!! Yes he may come off like a bit of an asshole at times but his heart is in it!!! Gordon keep up the good work
