MTV Video Music Awards Britney Spears
Britney Spears is really planning a major comeback performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Mindfreak magician dude Criss Angel reportedly helped design the number and Brit wants to shock us all.
“She’s planning it to be a big comeback performance,� says a Spears insider, who adds that the goal is to make it “shocking.� One early idea that was canned? Performing “My Prerogative� amid a medley of hits, as images of exes Justin Timberlake, 26, and Kevin Federline, 29, and other gossip fodder flashed on a screen behind her. As for a report that she’d do a duet with Timberlake? “Totally, patently false,� says a Timberlake source.
You know, I have to say that after the head shaving, car bashing, public nudity and the general insanity that follows her the level to which Britney will have to sink to be “shocking� is a truly frightening concept. Throw the Mindgeek guy into the mix and the potential for total chaos goes through the roof.
I hope MTV gets the censor buttons ready for wardrobe malfunctions, check the champagne for poison, and make sure Britney doesn’t go postal on the whole audience with a bomb. You never know what this chick will do…..

Her dancing seemed too stiffed and her no real good expression on her face..was not intense at all..and I just hate shes always LIP SYNCHING!!! atleast sing a lil bit!

wow…that britney spears performance was the worst…she was lip synching the whole freakin song…if you’re gonna make a come back you have to do it with a freakin BANG!!!…the dancing was horrible…the girls that were dancing on the poles wore more clothes than she did…the song should of been named “kill me”…she has made the worst comeback in history…britney you ruined ur career years ago…don’t try coming back…SERIOUSLY!

I was rooting for you… for real. And… you gave a ‘performance’ (using the term loosely) which should be forgotten, but it won’t cause it was pretty much the let-down of the year.
Now.. you stuck with the choreography… which is good!! You didn’t ‘get it’ with the ‘oomf’ and fervor with which you used to perform… which is bad… You seemed to get lost among lip-syncing, dancing and common things like… oh… gravity, for example.
To be fair, I’ve never been a mother or married to trailer trash… nor have I been a pop star for that matter. But I know full well what it’s like to be insanely fucked up.. drunk, high.. etc. Hun, you looked completely lost….
I hope you found your car ok…. sadly though, I think your career is under it.

Now that they shock of Britney Spears sad VMA performance has worn off, we are starting to wonder what the hell happened to Criss Angel? After weeks of rehearsing something we assumed would be Criss Angel-esque and mindblowing, we didn’t get any magic and the only illusion going on was in Britney’s mind that she could still pull off an outfit like that.
Just minutes after Britney’s trainwreck of a show, Criss was filmed saying he didn’t have ‘much to do with Britney’s performance’. So that leads to believe that either a) she really messed up some of the special effects they worked hard on and now Criss doesn’t want his name attached to her and this big hot mess, or b) he was just getting some Britney booty the past few weeks and using her performance as an excuse to be seen out together late at night and early in the morning. Either way he bailed on her to hang with Tommy Lee. It’s sad that Britney’s being passed around more than her lollipops.
To be fair, there is a story being floated by Britney’s people that MTV made her scrap her entire show she had worked out with Criss due to insurance reasons. There was supposed to be mirrors, diappearances and floating.

Britney, is who she is and everyone is different.
It is a shame that the media has blown it up.
But it’s more money for Brit. As for the VMA’s well, she slacked a bit, but in my opinion I don’t think it was to bad. I feel what she is going through, so therefore I am going to give her props for making the come back. Her ass is not to fat either. She is fine..Having children change you..mentally, emotionally and physically. However, I think she looks damn good considering everything she has come to surpass in her life these past few months. I wish her and her boys all the best.
FED-EX dont’ deserve to have the children full time eihter. He is a drug addict, straight up. I personally wish things to turn around for Brit. She started making the right choices wants she filed for a divorce from Kevin. The going out to the clubs, well that is just a natural thing to do after a young woman has children. Mother hood is a scary responsibility and to know that you NO longer live for just yourself is a serious knot to swallow. When a woman has a child, after wards all kinds of thoughts go through your head about what you have not yet accomplished and what they have yet to expierence. Then you start to think how your dreams are no longer your dreams , they now belong to your children. You are now not focused on yourself your totally focused on the child or in her case children that she has carried and gave birth too. (not kevin)
Britney’s not Alone… they’re a lot of woman out their just like her. Only thing different is they are not all in the media… And the comment that was made about Diddy…..Well I think he thought she did fine given her circumstances.. I mean I have seen Aubry and Aundrea dance they have nothing on Brit. So to all the people out their who feel they must degrade others, always remember you make your self look like shit when you can’t say something good about someone..Shows how insecure and jelious you really are…..She is making the money NOT YOU!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA so stick that in you Lucky charms…. Not to mention I have children of my own who I always must tell them not to listen to all the BS that the media portray’s and puts out thier. That is someone’s private life and it’s not cool that it becomes a house hold conversation on a daily basis.

Simon Cowell was interviewed by Extra, and asked to do what he does best, critique other people’s performances. And what everyone wanted to know is what he thought of Britney’s performance.
“She stole the show whether you liked it or not. The only thing you heard about the following day was Britney Spears.
