Here’s some semi-celebrity news tidbits for Tuesday August 15, 2007. There is some odd facts and alot of death on people’s minds today. Star Muscle plans to be back to it’s usual crazy immature antics, but in the meantime, here’s some useless filler:
•The world’s oldest person has died at the age of 114. Seems like that title is cursed. No one ever seems to hold that title for too long.
• A biker didn’t realize that he’d severed his leg below the knee until after a riding another mile. That’s what an eight ball of crystal meth will do for you.
• Laura and Jenna Bush are collaborating on a children’s book. Rumor has it that it is their autobiography, but their intelligence level is so low they must categorize it as a pop-up book.
• An Australian farmer was kidnapped and beaten after trying to meet up with someone he met online.He was held hostage in Mali for 12 days by a gang of men posing as an online love interest. I guess that guy clicked the wrong checkbox on the dating survey.
• This week is the 30th anniversary of Elvis’ death. There hasn’t been any Elvis sightings in sometime now, maybe he really is dead after all.
• Darryl Strawberry owes a lot of money in back-taxes. And a bear DOES shit in the woods. Who-da-thunk-it?
• Brian Adams, known in wrestling circles as “The Crush,” was found dead in his home. No not the Canadian hunk Bryan Adams, Brian Adams. Calm down, don’t go slit your wrist or anything.
• The average American’s age of death is 78. The US lagged behind countries like Guam, Jordan, Japan and most European countries. The highest life expectancy is found in a small country in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain called Andorra. Japan was second.
• Tori Spelling is still starring in her reality show. She will not have her estranged mother on the show. Hey wait did Tori pay for this press release. File this under “Who gives a sh&T!”.
• Yankee Hall of Famer, Phil Rizzuto has died at the age of 89. His speed and spunk made him a Hall of Famer.“Holy cow!” made Phil Rizzuto famous.
