Victoria Beckham Coming to America Review
Spice Girl Victoria Beckham’s reality TV show has been hit with scathing reviews in America. The program, Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, documents her move to Los Angeles as soccer star husband David joins L.A Galaxy. However the show, which aired in the U.S on Monday, has been the subject of heavy criticism.
The New York Post branded Victoria “relentlessly self-promoting” in a show described as “an orgy of self-indulgence”. The New York Times described the singer as being “somewhat famous for being sort of famous, and is photographed a lot in Britain”. The documentary will hit U.K screens on Tuesday.
Well for some insane reason, this show magically appeared on my TV last night and it almost made me throw a chair through the window, then kill myself. There’s nothing worst than a super rich person with a yes-man entourage going all over the place shopping and wasting money. One example of this unbearable show was that Posh got asked to throw out the opening pitch at a Las Angeles Dodgers game. So of course she had to do some research by practicing with a bunch of little league kids and acting retarded. The only good part of the show was seeing a better looking blow up doll and seeing the inside of some sweet Malibu and Santa Monica houses. David needs to dump this idiot before she wastes all his money and ruins his good name.

America just didn’t get it. Posh sends her self up something rotten in this complete spoof. VB’s parody of the US style fly on the wall celeb documentary was spot on.
If you suffered through Paris and Nicole or the Jessica & Nick’s Newly weds you probably should watch this again. Brilliantly funny. Superbly subtle and crass and awful all at the same time, exactly what is was meant to be. Shame she didn’t get the six week run at it.
Admitedly if you know nothing of the Brand Beckham story some of the jokes would rush straight over your heads. The Linda Stasi review gives it even more hilarity.
Did no one notice in the opening credits that her PA might be played by an actress Nnnnrrrrrrr. America watch it again and this time think Ab Fab.

Oh please, give it up. It wasn’t half as bad as that. I actually enjoyed it and thought it was quite good, as far as these things go.
Very refreshing and different from the horrid dreck that is the reality tv landscape in the US. Of course she’s “self-indulgent” and “self-promoting”. What celeb isn’t??? Be that as it may I found her funny, charming, and quite sympathetic. And beautiful, yes. I
actually laughed out loud a few times during the show.
And the rare glimpse into the inner sanctum of those horribly over-plastic-surgeried, phony and obnoxious Beverly Hills madams, er I mean “socialites” was priceless. All in all I really liked the show
and I was hoping there would be more episodes. They left it hanging at the end, making me want for more, but I couldn’t find any upcoming episodes scheduled. I hope there’s at least two or three more episodes coming, if not more.

Every person who I know who has watched it absolutely loved the show, and every review I have seen written by an average person has been glowing. I didn’t care about Victoria Beckham, but I watched the show and she seems completely lovely. She was funny and, yes, maybe a little self-indulgent, but she’s a celebrity with loads of money. Too bad there aren’t more episodes scheduled, because I know many people would watch.

The attempt at self parody was a dismal failure as everyone knows that VB is a fame-desperate, talentless stick insect with fake tits that are so dreadful they make Demi Moore’s look good.
Going around saying ‘major’ and ‘fierce’ all the time when you are a middle class oaf in your 30s has got be one of the most cringe-making things I have ever seen.
If the show was ironic then she wouldn’t behave like that all the time. But she does. The only jokes are her and any idiot who regards her as some kind of role model.

Do you really want this talentless woman to be even richer than she already is ?!!! If you do, then keep on buying magazines with her on the cover and boost her media coverage sales! And keep buying her ridiculously overpriced but incredibly ordinary products/clothes with her name, logo all over them!! She is nothing but an ordinary, unattractive, uneducated girl from the UK who got lucky by being in a girl band and marrying someone for their looks and potential. She wants to be globally famous, to be constantly told she’s beautiful and talented, and to be a billionaire. There is no end to her greed or to the greed of her manager Simon Fuller. Everything has been organised and planned to make her, David and Simon richer and more famous. And WE ARE IDIOTS for going along with it!!! Do you really want them to be billionaires, honestly ???
Victoria has an abnormal, unsexy, unfeminine body, a terribly average face, a numbing personality and she grips onto David like there’s no tomorrow - she rightly knows that without him she is nothing but a boring desperado. Take away the publicity whoring outfits and fake tits and what do you have ?? Absolutely nothing !!
Its time we stood up and said “NO NO NO” to useless people who court the media for their own gain. Stop wasting your time and money on these vacuous, talentless people who offer us nothing.

what a load of balls, her PA was a blimmin actress for starters! Anyone in the UK who knows this dimwit knows she has no personality & this show was written for her from start to finish! Like ‘major’ yeh lets get you a catch phrase so you can be the next Paris Hilton ‘hot’! & when did she start to admit that her boobs were fake after years of denial in the UK. I guess the Americans wouldnt fall for that cack! Dave will give her the boot & she’l have to take her skinny arse back to the UK & be a presenter on that wonderful show (not) Loose women!!!

Victoria would like you to think she is being ironic and tongue-in-cheek with her humour and image but believe me she really is that superficial, materialistic, stupid, arrogant and fame hungry.
Otherwise, wouldn’t she act different in public ??!!! What you see is exactly what you get behind closed doors!
And the boring bullshit both her and David keep “revealing” about themselves has been heard again and again over the years in the UK and Europe. Poor America has to hear it all over again …. classic insights like ‘we like to walk about naked all the time in private’ (yeah, so what, dont most couples do that?!!) … ‘im just a normal mom and wife’ (sure you are honey, in between ringing up papparazzi to let them know which shop you’ll be entering and posing for magazines, wearing 10 different outfits a day, meeting your manager to find out how much more xposure and money you can get).
Just remember people, everything that the Beckhams say has been planned from the ‘its all about the kids’ to ‘we’re just family orientated’ so that David can strip cash off all the American families through his ’soccer academies’

One of the few things worse than cretins like VB is the kind of vacuous buffoon who constitutes what you might describe as a ‘fan’.

Ya know, leave the poor girl alone! I watched the show and loved it. There will always be this kind of TV so wouldnt you rather have your girls watch her than Lindsey, Paris (gag) Brittney or Nicole? Posh is a good Mother devoted wife and very concerned about her family. The program was very cute refreshing and a relief to know that we had someone in the public eye like her! The world is run by jealous people who are intimidated by her. I think it is a shame that she did not come while poor little Paris was in jail. Maybe her arrival would have given the news media something else to talk about so we did not have to hear about poor little Paris.

Many people figured already that the relationship between her and Beckham is more of a publicity thing. She got herself pregnant from him very early into their relationship for one thing.
And how can you be a “Normal” mother yet have a dozen nannies? *Snort* So many celeb moms make a huge deal about being moms then would have three or four nannies with them. Come on! And she loves to be complimented.
These women are not “Poor little girls” they WANT you to think they are. That’s the whole point! And to be gullible in such a way? That’s a real pity. And for the above comment, I think its really sad to have a mom of a teenager support such girls. Girls should follow career women, women who worked hard to get where they are today, not prissy little rich people.

I liked the show, and so did most of the people who watched it. Shes not as bad as you make her sound. Beckham isn’t much better at was he does anyways. He’s just hot. So chill.

I think the show was funy and it seems like victoria’s not like what many people think. She’s a lovely person, funny, good mother and wife.
