Sandra Bernhard Talks About Britney Spears
Comedienne Sandra Bernhard has been taking jabs at Britney Spears for ages, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t feel for the poor girl. “I’ve been doing pieces on Britney for quite a while now, and I find her kind of a touchstone in culture, and I have a great deal of empathy for her,” Bernhard told the Buffalo News. “I think she was basically co-opted by her parents at a very young age, forced into this business, and it’s not completely her fault that she’s flipping out.” Bernhard hypothesized that the Toxic singer’s troubles may stem from her preteen years as a Mouseketeer. “Having an 8-year-old kid myself, and knowing the vulnerability of a child and being thrown into that disgusting, slimy world of Disney, I mean, I can’t think of a more horrible thing to do to your child,” she said.
Umm…why is this even in the news? This disgusting, has-been… that never was, needs to crawl back to her mobile home trailer and shut up. No one cares about you Sandra. I would even guess that she PAID to get into the news headlines. Paparazzi wouldn’t even waste a polaroid on this lame duck.
