Howard Stern from the Howard Stern Show on Sirius satellite radio, is trying to mess with the public and prove once again he is THE KING OF ALL MEDIA. There’s a retarded kid that calls in all the time, Eric The Midget (who is the biggest Idol fan), who is extremely angry at this plan. He is worried about keeping the American Idol reputation and integrity intact. This is only adding gasoline to a fire, when it comes to motivating Howard Stern.
Howard Stern has been in a slump since he got engaged and started playing internet chess. But today he showed signs of life once again on his show when it came to staying the vote to vote for the horrible Indian idol contestant, Sanjaya Malakar.
All I know is that American Idol sucks this year and to play a joke of this magnitude, would be legendary.

Just to make a point to the producers that the show is lame or maybe even fixed, yes I agree. HOWEVER, does anybody give a rats ass about the Sanjaya himself. Its a shame because this is some of their ticket out of the life they were in or heading to. Ya know, I never agreed with the voting system for AI. It left too many cracks in the system. For example, if there was a really great singer, people would assume that this singer would get a ton of votes, and so they would vote for someone else they’d like to see hang around a little longer. Problem is, enough people would think that way, and the great singer would get eliminated for having the fewest votes (Chris Daughtry from last year comes to mind). I always felt that America should vote for the person they wanted to see voted off, and not for the ones they’d like to see stay around for another week. If the vote went that way, we wouldn’t have this situation with Sanjaya. Maybe the shows producers should reconsider the voting system. It would solve a lot of problems.

I use to work in the music industry and an entertainment lawyer said I was lucky to get through the “glass ceiling” because my brother is a famous rock star (which I will not tell who he is) anyway, the point is my skin color has a lot to do with the entertainment industry I got a chance to know some people back in da day. If I tried to break in myself as a personal manaager of a rock, I don’t think I could have given my press kit of my band past the secretary of major record company, Captiol Records.

This is by far the worst season of AI. Howard Stern gets paid to be a jackass. So does Simon (although he IS the only valid judge on that show). Sanjaya can step down whenever he chooses. He hasn’t done so; therefore, one can assume that he’s chosen to ignore the negative attention. The kid CAN sing, but is not on the same level as the other remaining contestants (with the exception of a certain female). But…let’s not forget that the JUDGES put Sanjaya in the finals. Save for several contestants, they did an amazingly sloppy job of picking the best of the bunch this year. I would vote for Sanjaya ONLY in hopes that the producers would change the voting system. Ideally, the judges should have the task of ousting one of the contestants who garners the least votes OR votes should be cast for the person viewers want voted OFF the show. How can such obvious solutions to the voting debacle be ignored? The producers poke fun at wannabe singers each season, so they obviously DON’T care about integrity or cruelty. It’s just entertainment. If you’re a great singer and get voted off before Sanjaya, life shouldn’t be over.

American Idol makes fun of people for the first like ten episodes. And their screening process is intense. I know someone who tried out and they weren’t let through because they sounded too polished… what does that mean, it means they sounded too professional. How can you have a competition that is supposed to look for the best talent turn you down for sounding too good. My friend also told me that they let people without talent in for no apparent reason. ( basically to make good tv at people’s expense ) So I think they deserve to be pranked. I’m not voting for the worst because i enjoy some former idols music (mainly Fantasia who I believe is the greatest idol and the most talented) although i didn’t vote for her either. NE way just remember for those of you who are concerned about Sanjaya’s feelings this is the music industry better now than later…. And as for those who get voted off..Only one of them would win in the end and really winning isn’t always the best…remember Clay….

I do not watch AI, I do not because it has never interested me, however, what a lot of you are doing is very rude and mean. I understand wanting to make a mockery of the show, but to take a persons feelings and hurt them is wrong. I also understand that it is funny in the moment but everyone try to recall what it felt like when you were young and someone picked on you, now imagine it on TV for everyone to see. We have all had this happen, and it never feels good. I seem to remember a time several years ago when all Howard Stern could talk about on his show was how Clearchannel was screwing him. He bitched for weeks, sniveling like a 17 year old talentless hack who had basked in a few shame-ridden minutes of fame, until the powers that be decided he was a joke…and started putting the screws to him. Do you remember how that felt, Howie? Or does it feel better being the bully this time? In all honesty, how is Howard Stern any different from Sanjaya Malakar? The hairs the same ( or right, HS is a wig), both are boring and have very little to offer entertainment, except as side shows.
