Mike Tyson was running away from drug rehab when he was busted for suspicion of DUI and cocaine possession. I am not sure if this is a credible story, but until I hear otherwise we will report it.
Tyson, 40 years old said he wanted a fresh start and entered a Arizona rehab center so that he could train and box again. But Tyson only stayed 9 days and then bolted out.
“Mike can’t shake the drugs,” revealed a close friend. “He checked himself into rehab because he says he’s broke and his only means of supporting himself is boxing. He had to get clean.
“He admits he does cocaine and mushrooms (a hallucinogenic) and that he drinks too much. But after only nine days, he left the facility, saying he felt like he was in a cage.
“One of the first things he did was find a nightclub and party with friends!”
Now the former heavyweight champion’s future may include the requisite pink jumpsuit and pink underwear worn in the Maricopa County jails, where “America’s Toughest Sheriff” says celebrities get no special treatment. Pick up this week’s ENQUIRER for more details.

Former boxing champ Mike Tyson could be jailed for seven years after being ordered to stand trial on drug charges. The troubled heavyweight will appear before a court on August 20, charged with alleged possession of cocaine and driving under the influence. He was stopped by police in Scottsdale, Arizona last December.
Tyson was jailed for six years in 1992 after being convicted of raping a beauty queen - but he could face a longer spell behind bars as prosecutors are expected to demand the maximum sentence, seven years.
