Mr Gwyneth Paltrow, Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin, seems to have an adverse reaction when his wife’s name is mentioned. During a press conference with his band in Brazil Martin reportedly made snarky remarks, and eventually stormed off, after reporters mentioned his Oscar-winning actress wife’s name. According to MSNBC’s The Scoop, after being asked if a duet with Paltrow could be in the cards, Martin retorted: “What’s your favourite sexual position?”
When Paltrow was brought up again, he supposedly stormed off.
“Gwyneth Paltrow must suffer,” a writer from Folha de Sao Paulo was quoted in The Scoop as saying. “Chris Martin, her husband, isn’t one of the nicest persons on earth. At least that’s what it seemed in the 20 minutes press conference.”
Oh Jealousy!

You know, I don’t think “jealousy” is the right assessment. Here he is, at a press conference with his band (a press conference which is presumably supposed to be about said band) and instead of being asked about his accomplishments, he’s bombarded with questions about his apparently more newsworthy wife. “Yeah it’s great that you have this band thing going on, Chris, but can you tell us what Gwyneth’s fav meal is?”

I agree. I think that the world is obssesed with celebrities, and ask non-respectful questions. Chris Martin obviously does not want to be in the middle of the media, so hes not going to coincide with what the press wants, just because thats what they want. As great and talented as Chris and Gwyneth are, they still are just people, really like you and me. Infact, I’m sure thats all they want to be to the rest of the world. I honestly dont care about their personal lives, and that goes for the rest of the celebrities. This couple is the most mysterious, but still lets get over them, their not Christ!
