Howard is engaged to Beth O!
The two of them make the cutest couple and we couldn’t be happier for them. Congratulations!There have been rumors stirring for months but nobody thought it would ever happen. Howard finally broke down last night and proposed to BethO. He was thinking about doing it at Christmas time but needed more time to plan the ring.
The plan was to do it on Valentine’s Day but he couldn’t wait. A nude Howard Stern laid down in bed next to a nude Beth Ostrosky and said “I love you. You mean everything to me. I’m asking you to spend the rest of your life with me.” Then he gave her the ring. They made love and according to Howard, Beth had a very strong orgasm. He then called her father for permission and after soaking it in he said OK but with the one condition that Howard never call him dad.

RING: Howard designed a 5.2 carat emerald cut diamond ring made by jeweler Richie Winick
DATE: No date has been set but howard said he plans on being engaged for years.
BACHELOR PARTY: Ronnie the limo driver will be organizing the bachelor party.
PRE-NUP: They haven’t gotten that far but Howard says there will be one and beth says she completly understands.
Is Betho shortchanging herself on a pre-nup? Is she entitled to MORE through NY States Common Law?
OK FOLKS, HERE’S MY THEORY ABOUT WHY HOWARD IS ENGAGED:
Howard and Beth O have been together for over 7 years. In New York there is a thing called COMMON LAW. When people go out and live together for this long it is the SAME THING as being married. She is ALREADY entitled to half of his money. By getting engaged, he will have her sign a pre-nup, thus forfeiting her rigtht to half his current money. IT IS CHEAPER FOR HIM TO GET MARRIED, FOLKS. I think I am dead on on this theory. Listen to what Stern says about Paul McCartney’s divorce, he works too hard for his money. Paying her lets say 5 or 10 million is a bargain over 250 million. He knows he has to pay either way, so why not get married. What do you folks think about this theory:

A “common law marriage” is one in which the parties may hold themselves out as a husband and wife, and under certain circumstances, be deemed married without a marriage license or ceremony.
New York does not allow the creation of a “common law” marriage, a relationship in which a couple lives together but have not participated in a lawful ceremony. Unlike some other states, in New York a couple cannot acquire marital rights and responsibilities by living together for a particular period of time. You do not need legal action to end such a relationship, if it was created in New York.
However, New York does recognize as valid, common law marriages created in other states if the legal requirements of those states have been met. As a result, legal action is needed to dissolve legal “common law” marriages performed in other states and foreign countries in compliance with their licensing and ceremonial regulations. The courts are available for determining the rights of parties now living in New York.
As long as a couple lives together as husband and wife, the question of validity of their marriage is unlikely to arise. However, for purposes of inheritance or the benefits of pension plans or social security, a valid marriage is required.

It’s an interesting theory, but I don’t think Stern is marrying her to save money. I think her family isn’t pleased with her “living with” a man and she’s a little embarrassed by it all. She wants the big ring and all the attention and she wants to be respected. I think it’s as simple as that. Not to mention Howard isn’t that young anymore and probably figures she’s hot and genuinely likes him, why let that slip away?
