Master of disguise Sacha Baron Cohen hits the road to explore America as the crude Kazakhstani reporter Borat in a feature mockumentary that brings one of the Da Ali G Show star’s most popular characters to life on the big screen. Sent by the Kazakh Ministry of Information to interview knowledgeable Americans and bring his findings back home, Borat flies to New York City to begin his quest, but his plans change after he catches an episode of Baywatch on his hotel TV. Determined to make his way to California so that he can entice the beautiful Pamela Anderson to be his bride, he sets off on a road trip with his camera man in tow.
