Ryan Seacrest was apparently flabbergasted that Angelina Jolie showed little interest in him when he tried to interview her and her boyfriend, Brad Pitt, on the Golden Globes red carpet. “I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me,” he kvetched on his LA KIIS-FM radio show. “I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it.” The perplexed Seacrest’s cohost, Ellen K, came to Jolie’s defence, interjecting, “Well, she has said that she finds all these award shows a waste of time and money.” Seacrest slammed that notion by saying. “Well then don’t go. Don’t go. Don’t go support your man. Don’t go.”
Do you know who you insulted? I am Seacrest, hear me roar! I will bury you woman, you will never work in this town again!

I think in general the public just wants someone (a celebrity) to pick on. Let’s face it, all the people out there who believe Angelina is the SOLE reason for Pitt and Aniston’s divorce want to see her in the dirt, in the gutter. So what she didn’t answer Seacrest’s questions? Was it rude? Probably. Does that mean she deserves to be pulled thru the mud for that? No way. People need to get over the fact that celebrities are somehow superhuman and that they never have bad days or bad nights and that they are always perfect gentleman or perfect ladies. They are human after all. Leave her alone. She has done some great humanitarian work that is a fact. So she called her baby a blob. That doesn’t mean we can take it out of context and think she is a bad mother. Geesh!! And as far as her stating that in the country Madonna adopted from, adoptions are illegal, that is a fact as well. Why is Angelina getting bashed because she stated a fact? Find a new subject and move on.

I watched that E interview several times and saw nothing wrong. I’m surprised that many people watching the same show can come up with so many different interpretations. If you’re going to condemn Angelina Jolie for her behavior, at least watch the clip for yourself and decide.

Angelina’s behavior was unacceptable. She was supposed to be there to support her partner and to uphold her contract with St. John. By being surly, bitchy and snotty she completely negated all her reasons for being on the red carpet. If she thinks such events are beneath her, then she should not attend them. She put Brad Pitt in an awkward position, which is unkind. Rude, condescending behavior is NEVER acceptable. I don’t care how famous or philanthropic you are. She is in the wrong.

So did anyone think that maybe Ms. Jolie had a lot on her plate…3 children and a sick mom would put anyone in a dismal mood. Her mother died this week fighting Cancer, it didn’t just happen their family has had to endure a disease while still working in the public spot light. I feel like Ryan Seacrest should step off and actually review the tape she was pleasant not rude maybe even a little distracted but by no means did she snub you.

It’s very hard to lose someone, especially a parent, to cancer(I lost my Dad to cancer a few years ago). Angelina most definitely had a lot on her mind with her mother being so close to death. The fact that she was on the red carpet at all that night I think says alot about her character and how important it was for her to be supporting “her man”. I think all the naysayers out there who had nothing but condemnation for her behavior that night owes her a huge apology. Ryan Seacrest especially needs to apologize and maybe should do it on his radio show and on American Idol. Show some character yourself Ryan! By the way, I watched the interview a couple of times on YouTube and really saw nothing wrong with it. I guess the desire for ratings are more important to some than the feelings of their fellow man.

Well even though her Mom was sick she did not pass away before the Golden Globes it was after and even if she did Angelina had no right to be as rude as she was. If my Mom were dying the only place I would be was with her. When they are gone they’re gone, and nothing can replace them. Brad would have done just fine ateending alone.
