Yoko Ono Chauffeur Arrested

Judge Tanya Kennedy at the Manhattan Criminal Court set bail at $500,000 bond or $250,000 cash for a chauffeur for Yoko Ono after a prosecutor said he tried to extort $2 million from widow of former Beatle John Lennon, whose ghost has been making random sightings in the Ono household.
Ono’s chauffeur for six years Koral Karsan, 50, arrested on Wednesday had allegedly threatened to circulate embarrassing photos of Yoko Ono in nightclothes and spoke of killing her and her son, Sean Lennon. (Maybe Sean’s new album brought this guy to the brink of insanity?)
Yoko Ono, 73, an avant-garde artist reportedly received a rambling note from Karsan on December 8, the 26th death anniversary of John Lennon stating that he had secretly photographed her and made audiotapes of her in private moments. (possible vibrator pics? er-er-er-er-er?) Karsan warned he would make the material public if she didn’t pay him an extortion amounting $2 million.
Well another weird court case for Court TV to try and televise. That station prays for cases like this, their office Christmas party just got better. I don’t have enough facts to make a conclusion on this, but in my opinion, a limo driver should be down at the car, not hanging out in the house with the opportunity to take pictures. No one wanted to look at Yoko Ono when she was young, why would he think they want it now?

Friends presented a $250,000 bail package Friday for Yoko Ono’s driver, jailed after he was accused of threatening to have John Lennon’s widow killed unless she gave him $2 million.
The bail for Koral Karsan, 50, was presented as two cashier’s checks, his lawyer Robert Gottlieb said. He said Karsan remained in jail while the Manhattan district attorney’s office reviewed the people who put up the money.

The man accused of grand larceny against Yoko Ono may be adding another charge to his instant rap sheet.
Ono’s longtime driver Koral Karsan was ordered to remain in custody Monday, despite having posted $250,000 bail, while immigration officials worked to determine whether they should add “illegal alien” to his litany of alleged offenses.
The 50-year-old Turkish immigrant was arrested in New York Wednesday after he allegedly delivered a letter to Ono in which he reportedly threatened to release recordings and photos of the Beatle widow in “private moments” unless she forked over $2 million.
