Ugly Betty Review - Salma Hayek Gangsta

Salma Hayek just turned gangsta on us. With her new hit TV show, ‘Ugly Betty’ becoming a huge success for ABC, Salma is on top of the world. You can take the gang member out of the hood, but not the hood out of the gang member. Salma is an honorary member of both the Crypts and Bloods, a feat never accomplished by any other celebrity in the history of both gangs. She shows up at a Hollywood premiere movie sporting her colors, colors, colors, colors. You see her co-star America Ferrera sporting a new grill in the picture below too. Ok here’s my half-ass review of this hit tv show. I have seen two episodes, the first one and the one last week. All of a sudden Salma is a main character on the show, actually I saw more of her than the main character, Ugly Betty. The first episode was funny and cute, the later….annoying and forced. Normally when a star directs or produces a show, they only jump in when the show is hurting for ratings. Salma Hayek, being the diva, egomaniac that she is, was jealous of the sudden buzz and wrote herself in a nice juicy part. I wish they had subtitles on when her character speaks, it’s next to impossible to understand her, and mark my words…”Salma will ruin this show”. Nuff said, later.
