Any woman that feels she needs to be slim is brainwashed. Other than that, the only reason why Donald Frump has any fans at all is because A) he’s a white male and B) he has money. I am in Melbourne Australia and only watch the “View” because of you. I hold a Phd in Psychology and let me say this. I would sell up everything in Melbourne to work with you. As a viewer i dont know what happens behind the scenes but believe this I have enormous respect for your co-hosts. Rosie: I was just reading the, 23 Apr, People Magazine article about Halle Berry. There was a question about her hair styles and how pretty they are either long or short and which did she prefer, long or short. She said that she prefered short hair and that she was going to have to shave her head to prepare for her next movie. I assume based on what she said it would have to grow out a bit before the movie shoot. The name of her next romantic comedy movie is called “Nappily Ever After”. Do you think the title will be changed in light of the Don Imus fiasco or based on your ill defined logic this is OK because of Article 1 (Free Speech)? I would like to hear you and the ladies discuss this on the View.

Of course it was a horrbile and heart wrenching what took place. But why doesn’t America fly the falg at half mass when a soldier dies in the Middle East? The soldiers should have the same respect. I think the best thing that Rosie has done to the view is give it a place to hear the feelings out there. She is educating people at home and she is a great person. I only watch for her and mayb never watch after she leaves. It has been the best year for her in my home. I have laughed, learned and cried. She will be missed and I hope there can be reconsideratoin.

and really enjoy you. TRUMP {the dumptruck} is just a spoiled rich creep who thinks cos he has lots of money that he can do and say whatever he wants. He seems to thrive on the “trouble” between you because he keeps bringing it up. I can’t stand him and will laugh my ass off when his wife smartens up and leaves him. My comments are not about the political issue. Everyone has the right to believe what they believe. But I don’t like the disrespect in which they are debated. Rosie you talk really strong about what you believe which is good,but when it’s not going the way you want it, you insult and attack people personally. The real kicker is when you act like a victim when your hurt. You put it out there like you don’t care what anyone else thinks and then can’t take it when people comment about what you say if it is derogatory. They have free speech too. Why do you want to be defended by someone you don’t even respect? You have dismissed her multiple times on the show. I don’t know what image you think you portray everyday, but from a viewer that is pretty mutual..it’s not pretty. It’s like you want to seem intrested in what others have to say but you really don’t and feel the need to change peoples mind and blow them off when they don’t conform to your thoughts. When you made your comments about Anderson 360 in the begining of the season, Barbara shut it down quickly by saying he has a good show. There are other examples but I won’t mention. Why didn’t you argue back with her? Why should Elizabeth defend you when you made that comment, her feeling towards you is not the issue but you tried to make it her issue when you called her a coward and the other day you said she couldn’t even hold two thoughts in her head! What was that…if she would have returned an insult she would have stooped to your level. If you stick to the issues and leave the personal attacks out of the debate more people might listen. You come across like an angry bully that hasn’t dealt with some personal issues, instead of a intellegent comedian that has important and very relevant thoughts, which I believe you really are. I don’t agree with some of the things you say as the same with Elizabeth, but I do take you more serious when your not insulting and actually get me to look at things from a differnt prespective, which I think is your actual goal.

I loved your other show and because you started on the view I started watching that show. I didn’t like the View at all before you started on it in September.

I think you are a great person. You take a lot of heat from a lot of people who are just full of themselves. I am completly against the war. Our Canadian troops have been sent over to fight as well and are also getting killed. It is just a senseless war that should never have started in the first place. We were lied to from the getgo!

I am so sorry that you are leaving the View. I will not be watching after you leave in June. I really enjoyed and looked forward to seeing you everyday. My husband and I are retired now and I really looked forward to seeing you on the show. I am really going to miss you!

If we had not been so far away I would have come to the View to see you in person!

Isn’t it incredible that people who do not conform to another person’s point of view is somehow the type of a misfit everyone wishes to put down,I wonder what they are frightened of, maybe they are jealous they do not have the energy tobe different themselves and question what they perceive to be wrong,did not the founding fathers of the USA require this and did they set out the way you should accomplish this, I do not think so.

I remember someone on a number of occasions saying (you are for us or against us)and we all know now what that meant now,here are a few things you cannot do today, there is of course many more.

you cannot take almost nothing through security on a aircraft today,but you can buy the same things in a departure lounge wants you are through security,do you think this is only to make more profits for the airport’s.

you cannot go to a public library without the authorities knowing what books you take out.

if you have friends outside the USA be careful what you say on the telephones because big brother is listening.

does anyone really believe the terrorists and bad guys do not know this and take appropriate action against it, so who is really getting hurt hear is it not the millions of average working stiffs each day once again.

Dear Rosie,

People who have to use words that are hateful, such as words like fat, stupid, ugly, uneducated, etc… are people who are insensitive, uncaring, and bigoted. They are very narrow minded, and don’t take the time to think about another perspective. Thank God that it’s not the kind of education one gets in School that makes one intelligent or not. I have a PhD in psychology, and can give you my educated opinion on that if it makes a difference.
You present another point of view. One that is kept from the American people. Your view is one that is shared by a majority of the rest of the world. I guess that the majority is wrong…At least that is what these narrow minded people must believe.
Elizabeth should be the one to leave The View, I don’t think she even hears other peoples’ opinions, she never stops talking over you or Joy, she’s just to busy defending her point. I have seen you and Joy give Elizabeth the time to voice her point of view unlike her. I have never seen Elizabeth get frustrated because of you or Joy, but I have seen you and Joy become frustrated because of her. Frankly, she frustrates me too. Elizabeth has a lot of growing up to do. Both you and Joy are older than Elizabeth and have more life experience than her, and are able to see the larger picture, at least another point of view, not only the one that is presented to you by those in power. She should at least show some repect.
Sad to see you go, I won’t be watching The View anymore, even though I do like Joy. Maybe you and Joy could start your own show.

To Ginger from Carthage TX, did you see the Vanessa Williams photos?? Apparently not, because she was doing a lot more than just showing her beauty. She was very, very actively engaged in giving and receiving oral sex with another young woman. Now, I’m no prude, in fact, I bought and owned that issue of the magazine for years, and it was the only issue I ever owned. But even by todays standards, those photos were pretty racy for a Miss America winner.

Oh, and Rosie O’Donnell rarely knows the facts of the issues she is discussing. If you listen closely to the fight with Hasselbeck, you’ll her Elizabeth even state that Rosie told her to make decision based on emotions, not facts, and Rosie made no attempt to dispute or correct it, leaving me to believe that it was a true remark on Elizabeths’ part. Way to go, Hasselbeck, in standing up to that ignorant loud mouthed bully.

Hi Rosie,

I have to say that in the begin I really did not like you, because I found you to be to loud; however, after seeing you on The View I have to admit that I have gotten to know you a little better. I still find you to be to loud but I find your issues on point. I understand where you are coming from and it is not your fault if others want to burry their heads so far up their asses to take the time to understand what you are trying to say. I have been saying the same thing about the war and to here someone other than myself is nice. You are so dead on. And I hope and pray that everyone understand what you are trying to say. I sure do. You have inspired me very much and I hope that one day if you decide to do stand up comedy again or in Montreal, Quebec I could get a chance to meet you. I was hoping to come to New York and see you on The View. But you would no longer be there so I have to find another way to get to meet a woman that inspires change in other people views and understanding. I am not one to voice an open opion very often, because I know what is right and wrong in my heart. I can not understand how people can get so irrate towards each other. We are all equal and we should all be able to have an opion. I don’t understand way a friend would demand another friend to defend her opion if they don’t agree on a politcal issue. I was shocked that day watching the show. You are both intelligent women with the right to feel they way you do, so what to you care what anybody thinks of what you said. We all know (at least we should) that this great country we live in. We are in trouble. We can not give up. We have to stay strong!!!!

Hi Rosie: I will miss u on the View as I did after u left ur own show. I watched ur blog were u said u tried hard to be friends with Elizabeth, I hope it wasn’t a trial just because u held different views. It was 1 of the things that made the show good tv. I have the most heated discusions with my best friends - that’s what makes them good friends we can argue like wild animals and still luv each other. (only rule no name calling)Also the arguements usually give me a different point 2 think about. Look forward to seeing u on tv soon. Terry

It did not surprise me that it would come to this. It was totally expected as you could see the tension between you and Elizabeth. I am so glad you stood up to Elizabeth. You made that show. She is one of the most naive people I have ever listened to. Now that you are not on the show, I will be watching more entaining and educational shows, such as the Wonder Pets and Blues clues with my daughter. I like Barbara and Joy, but Elizabeth is just to obnoxious to listen to.

Rosie O’Donnell is without a doubt rude and crude. I really don’t know why anyone would call her the queen of nice. I do remember many years ago when she was first starting out - she kissed everyones ass and then when she made some money she felt she had the right to say anything to anyone regardless of the sensitivity of the subject or the guest. Rosie: As if you would ever read this. Just wanted to say that I am glad you are gone from the VIEW. I liked you at first on the VIEW but you just kept shoving the Lesbian/Gay thing down everybody’s throat’s. And, your so called patriotisom left a lot to be desired. I didn’t want to watch the View but I found myself checking in on the VIEW once in a while just to see what dispicable thing you were going to say, do that day. You never seemed to disappoint. I felt like one of those people who drive past a horrible car accident and have to LOOK anyway. I never liked myself very much after watching you on the VIEW. Somehow, I felt dirty. I’m glad things came to blow’s on the VIEW and that you are not there anymore. Your time would be better spent at home with your wife. AND, I don’t even want to think about that scenerio in my mind either.

I loved you latest book. Anyone with any sense can see how phoney Barbara was with you and with Star Jones as well. You have a great attitude about family, money, loyalty and all that really matters in life. Hold your head up high you have nothing to be ashamed of. As for Donald - well he needs to meet Jesus! That will put him in his rightful place. Elizabeth needs to keep her comments to herself until she has lived a little. Rosie I was so glad to see you back on TV. However I could tell that, they were holding you back from what you wanted to do and say when you were on the View. You could tell that all the girls were intimidated by your presents. You are so much bigger and better then what was going on. I believe everyone wants to hear what you have to say and they were holding you back. I know you have said you have alot of issues and very important opinions about things that are going on around the world and that is what is what makes people sit up and listen to what you have to say. I wish I was as strong as you and could figure out a way to get things done and said to help people the way you have in your life. I am a single mother of 5 children and have struggled all my life. I was molested when I was 8yrs old and that went on until I was 15yrs old. My stepfather was never prosecuted because my mother begged me to drop the charges against him, and I was affraid it would get out to kids at school and I would be treated like an outcast more then I already had been. I regreat that so much. I wish there was something that I could do about it now, but I dont know that there is anything that I can do. I could go on and on about how terrible my childhood was but it would not make a differance. I feel so stuck and it seems like I can never catch a break. I was wondering if maybe you might have some kind of advise about how I could get out of this depression because it is really effecting my kids. keep your head up because you give such insperation to so many people.
