DVDs have exploded in 2006. Crappy movies are always trying to recoup their money to cover bad ticket sales. This means they can put out more crap as a gamble and break even on the backend. Here are the top selling dvds of 2006:

Star Muscle’s DVD of the year is COOKERS. This low budget film was not in a any theatres that I have seen and went straight to DVD. It was categorized as a horror film, but it’s 90% a drug film about Crystal Meth. This movie deserves to win an Oscar for best film and best male actor. Technically the movie was made in 2001, but I just watched it for the first time 4 months ago. When I was trying to determine the best dvd opf 2006, I kept thinking about this movie. So I figured I would give it a plug. Go buy this movie. This is this years winnner.
