15 Minutes Of Fame In Hollywood 2006

Daniel Powter: Had a “BAD DAY” when it was his 16th minute. This artist REAPED the benefits from American Idol playing his song during the loser segments of the show. I don’t know a person that doesn’t hum this tune in their head, when they are having a bad day.

Abbie Cornish: As Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon had their issues, this was the home-recker in question.

Harry Whittington: This is the guy that got blasted by a gun in the head with Dick Cheney. Not too glamorous, but everyone except him laughed.

The Manny: Perry Taylor, Britney’s male nanny, was a US Naval Academy grad. Kinda lame 15 minutes…it was a slow week then. He probably got alot of tail showing how sensitive he was.

Lance Bass: He kicked the closet door off the hinges. Was quoted as saying, “I’m Gay” on People Magazine. This second rate, out of work, boy band singer got back in the spotlight when dated the gay guy from “The Amazing Race”.

Harry Morton: This was Lindsay Lohan’s summer romance who collected a huge series of paparazzi photos with the star. I don’t even remember his guy that’s how fast he lasted.

Kim Kardashian: This clothfing stylist won fame being Paris Hilton’s buddy, and the first one to hit Nick Lachey after Jessica Simpson broke it off. I called her “Better than Jessica” at the time.

Larry Birkhead: Anna Nicole Smith’s ex who filed a lawsuit against her saying he is the father of her newborn. Go man go, nice to see it flipped around like this.

All in all, I would saying Lance Bass has thew longest 15 minutes of fame this year. He’s single now, so that’s gonna keep him the the news. Best of luck to the other wanna-bees. See you in 2007.
