The cast of the television hospital drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ tops Entertainment Weekly’s list of the year’s top entertainers because of their cultural impact.
Entertainment Weekly said the cast of “Grey’s” — McDreamy, McSteamy and all the others — led the chart of top entertainers because they had a cultural impact beyond their show’s roughly 20 million weekly viewers. In addition, the episodes —filled with sexual affairs and career problems — sparked chatter around offices, schools and homes across the United States.
“‘Grey’s’ isn’t just a show, it’s a phenomenon said Entertainment Weekly Executive Editor Lori Majewski.
I say this show is filled with extremely ugly people. The McDreamy guy is average AT BEST. The freckle face chick is annoying and a horrible example for women (trying to steal a married man). Greys Anatomy reminds me of ER fused with Ally McBeal. This show is garbage and I apologize if the female readers here, disagree.

I have gotten some emails about how my picture is racist. I was mearly commenting on their winning of an award based on cultural impact. Technically they do have most races covered there.

I wholeheartedly agree… I saw the first ever episode of Grey’s Anatomy and a couple of others that first season thinking it would be hot. Mind you this was before the whole hype surrounding it. I thought it sucked. Particularly for the whole soap opera-ish themes, the lyings, betrayls and overall vulgarity of life that do in fact make it a very bad example for young people. People need to get off it and find something else more believable and fulfilling to look up to in the television world.

I would just like to point out the fact that scrubs (the superior of the two shows) has been taking punches at the much more inferior Grey’s anatomy in there newer episodes. They used another one of the fray’s famous song, she is, and they commented on how much Grey’s anatomy sucks.

If you want medicine go for House, if you want drama go for ER reruns, if you want stupid doctors watch scrubs but dontttttt watch this show it disappoints on all counts! Grey’s is badly written with horrible dialogue. I really don’t understand the hype. But what I do understand is the caliber of mail coming from the Grey’s fans/supporters. I understand that it’s juvenile, also badly written and sounds like they are all written by 12 yr old girls getting Cs in English.

Yep, Grey’s is the lamest and worst show…it appeals to the lowest of the low. Whoever said it was ER meet Ally McBeal is right…and I think Ally McBeal left soon and hopefully so will this crappy show. At least Lost is still on.

I hate greys anatomy, i’d rather watch two girls one cup over and over. Any soap opera with enough finacial backing could be this show. Its a really sad example of american television.
