Most Fascinating Person of 2006 - Barbara Walters Special

Here are the most fascinating people of 2006, as told by Barbara Walters from the ABC NEWS:

Andre Agassi: A Good Sport: Received a 4 minute standing ovation when he lost. He cried like a schoolgirl, but to Barbara it was the sports moment of the year. #10

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: Two for the Price of One. The dream team has it all. Looks, money, fame, and two hearts of gold. #9

Joel Osteen: The Smiling Preacher: This dude creaps me out. The way he pushes his followers to receive money from God makes me think he’s the Anti-Christ. #8

Jay-Z: The King of Rap:Back after 3 years with a BANG. Jay Z dominated the charts this year and snagged Beyonce. (What d*ck!) #7

Steve and Terri Irwin: Soul Mates. I don’t want to piss off the world putting the Croc Hunter on the same level as the JACKASS BOYS, so I will leave it at that. #6

Anna Wintour: Always in Vogue. The Devil Wears Prada chick. HMMM, this smells like a Star Jones kickback scandal. #5

Sacha Baron Cohen: “Borat”. Funniest movie of the year. I have never seen so much Borat on every network, before the movie opened. Whomever handled the pre-marketing for this movie, is an absolute genius. Oh yeah Borat had a HUGE social impact on the United States, showing us how idiotic racism and the religious right really is. The United States has been brought back 60 years with the regime of George Bush, and this shows the retards who support him. #4

John Ramsey: The Mystery Continues: A rollercoaster ride. I wish this would just end. I wish JonBenet Ramsey would show up on an episode of Ghost Whisperer and have Jennifer Love close this case. #3

Patrick Dempsey: Still McDreamy. I am sick of this retarded show (Greys Anatomy), sick of this guy. Unbelievable that an average guy gets America’s housewives so wetty-wetty. #2

Barbara Walters: “We picked our most fascinating person on election day this past November. Next month, Congress will get a Speaker of the House unlike any before. Our most fascinating person of 2006: Mother of five and Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi.?  #1

Nancy Pelosi on election night: “Today we have made history.? Walters: “In January, Nancy Pelosi will become the most powerful woman in America. She will assume office as the first-ever female Speaker of the House, two heartbeats from the presidency.? Walters to Pelosi: “What do you think it means, not just for women, but for women in politics?? Pelosi: “I have to say with some level of immodesty that it really is big. The response that we have gotten from all over the country, from fathers with daughters, from just everyone, has been tremendous.?

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Time to go to bed. What a letdown, thanks BAHBAHRAH WAHTERS !

Wow hardly any buzz on this. 10-15 years ago this would be a hot topic. Maybe Barbara is a little out of touch or maybe these are just boring picks….aside from Borat of course.

Barbara, I have always respected you and your programs, I have not always agreed with you, but you do have class and I respect you. Now, as far as Rosie and The View is concerned you have given her a platform to spew her hate verbage. One wonders why there is so much hate in the world, you can see when it is propagated by television shows. I know there is freedom of speech, and there is also freedom for me to turn the dial. As of now, I am no longer watching ABC television simply because I will not allow myself to get that hate garbage inside of me. Good luck to you. Myrna
