Perez Hilton Getting Sued? $7.5 mil
Blogger Perez Hilton is facing two lawsuits for alleged copyright infringement. The first comes from Hollywood photo agency x 17 is suing Mario Lavandeira (Perez’ real name), for copyright infringement. The agency is claiming Perez used their photos on his website “without permission from the agency, thereby violating federal law.” According to Splash news, seven paparazzi agencies in the US, Splash News, INF, Ramey, Bauer Griffin, WENN, Most Wanted and Flynet have joined forces to stop Perezhilton from using copyrighted images. A letter was sent demanding full payment of all infringed material or face a lawsuit next week. |
| As per poor poor Queen Perez, I must admit I am a fan. I actually will give him/her credit for me launching this site. I am a huge Howard Stern fan and have listened to him/her on Stern’s radio show. Perez’s crappy site has truly inspired me to out-do him/her. (I don’t mean Gay-Out either….sicko.)
For anyone interested in Star Muscle, there are no advertisements, and the pictures are ‘user’ submitted. This content is considered ‘artistic satire’ in a US court of law. If there any issues about copywritten material posted on Starmuscle.com, feel free to contact us and they will be immediately taken down….but we will make fun of you after we do it.
